In an investigative report by Abia Pulse News, former Diamond Bank Boss, Dr. Alex Otti has been involved in another Property Controversy case.
The matter springs up on the heels of pending property snatching case between Dr. Alex Otti, and the Family of late Chief Otisi JN Kalu(ABBOT), the chairman of his 2015 campaign organization, Abia First.
According to reports, A Young Man, Edward Kanu Obiakor Jnr., the only son of the Pioneer Rector of Federal Polytechnic Akure, Late Prof Edward Kanu Obiakor, has cried out alleging that Dr. Alex Otti Forcefully took over his father’s property, a filling station in Arochukwu!
In a brief chat with Edward Obiakor Jnr. He claimed that the filling station NEW MARKET FILLING STATION, shares a fence with Dr. Alex Otti’s compound in his native village in Arochukwu. He went further to claim that after he turned down Dr. Otti’s appeal to buy the station from him, he was surprised that Dr. Otti, went ahead to bulldoze the filling station and joining it to his compound with a fence.
When Abia Pulse News contacted, the Media Assistant to Dr. Alex Otti, Mr Ferdinand Ekeoma debunked the allegation, stating that Dr. Alex Otti, legally bought the said property from one of the wives of the late Professor, who resides abroad and who the property was Willed to.
Edward Kanu Obiakor Jnr, reacting to Dr. Otti’s, response claims that his late father didn’t sign his original Will which was prepared by late Prof Umezuruike(who is his late father’s true lawyer) before he died, that whatever Will with which Dr. Otti claims to have bought the property was forged and that he can prove that in court.
Meanwhile, Some group of lawyers has volunteered to assist Young Edward in getting justice, if his claims are verified.
